Our team decided to build this Remotely Operated Vehicle in our Marnie Science class. None of us are in any engineering class, we don't know a lot about this stuff but we know enough at this moment. All of us just thought it would be an interesting and fun project to do.
Each of our team members contributed in building our ROV, including the web page. All team members are SENIORS at Carl Hayden High School.
We are building this robot for a competition that is being held in June. There will be 3 colleges, 3 grade schools, and about 7 to 8 high schools. But that's only the beginning, there are schools that are going to sign up but just haven't yet.
There are now 24 schools that have signed up. Every spot is filled for the competition.
